Opera Pilgrimage
During Festival Verdi, Teatro Regio of Parma will host the international Convention promoted by Opera Europa. The professional association brings the most important opera theatres and opera festivals together in a professional network, collating experiences and traditions with the purpose of promoting opera around the world, sharing projects, productions and high-level training initiatives. The themes tied to the planning of a festival from a technical and artistic point of view, with particular attention to local marketing and to new tools and ways of communicating through outreach initiatives and promotions of the public will be analysed, in Parma, by the representatives of 170 theatres and music festivals of the 43 countries represented by Opera Europa.
