Not “choreography” but “visual poetry”. Not “dancer” but “nomad”. From the company of Alwin Nikolais of New York to that of Anne Béranger in France, from the Opéra de Paris to the Venice Biennale at Roubaix, Carolyn Carlson is a tireless traveller, constantly researching, developing and sharing her personal poetic universe. A path which has taken her into the ephemeral, into an immersion in small stories.
