La Traviata
The spirit of Violetta
Opera crosses the theatre’s boundaries and becomes itinerant, bringing its stories and music face to face with the public: the new project of the Festival Verdi inaugurates with the show. La traviata The spirit of Violetta, in the enchantment of a small mobile theatre. The opera is narrated by an actor and an actress and sung by the voices of three soloists – soprano, tenor and baritone – accompanied on the piano, in the squares of the cities in the area.

Piazzale Chaplin’s performance doesn’t include seating: spectators are invited to bring the adequate equipment (plaids and pillows) to sit on the lawn, keeping security distances and wearing face masks. In case of bad weather the show will not take place.
