Scientific Committee for Festival Verdi

The Teatro Regio di Parma has established the Festival Verdi Scientific Committee, the review group that will bring together leading figures in the field of Verdian studies from Italy and abroad with the objective of providing a platform for consultation and discussion between musicology research, and the production and execution of Verdi’s compositions at Festival Verdi. The Committee will assist with programming choices relating to Verdi’s vast repertoire with philological care through the use of pre-existing critical editions, and, through agreement with Casa Ricordi, the creation of new critical editions for titles as yet without one.
