Born in Avellino in 1982, he graduated in orchestral conducting at the “Santa Cecilia” Conservatory in Rome, he continued his studies in the most important national and international schools and academies under the authoritative guidance of artists such as Carlo Maria Giulini and Bruno Aprea. He worked as Assistant of Maestro Pappano and M° Oren and received numerous awards including the first National Arts Award (2010/2011 edition) and the first prize of the National Competition for Orchestral Conducting at M.I.U.R. He conducted Italian and international great opera productions and in recent years he has been one of the main conductors at the Italian Festivals dedicated to Puccini in Torre del Lago with Turandot and Madama Butterfly, and to Verdi in Parma with Il Corsaro, I Masnadieri and Nabucco. He regularly collaborates alongside the biggest names in international opera such as Leo Nucci with acclaimed productions of Macbeth and Simon Boccanegra in Piacenza; Diana Damrau in Paris, Barcelona, Genoa and Monaco. Among his recent works: La traviata at Teatro Massimo in Palermo, Carmen and Turandot at Arena di Verona, Maria Stuarda in Berlin, Nabucco at San Carlo in Naples and many others.
