Finding Center was commissioned by the Harriman-Jewell Series to commemorate its 50th season of bringing the best of the performing arts to Kansas City. Very special thanks to long time-friend and collaborator, Rita Blitt, whose exhibition “Finding Center” provided true inspiration for the work.

Union was born out of an AIDS benefit at the Lincoln Center in 1993, and was restaged by Parsons Dance with public funds from the National Endowment for the Arts and New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature. This work was restaged, in part, at a NYSCA Long-Term Residency in New York State at PS21 in Chatham, NY in 2015.
