Alberto Malazzi graduated at Conservatorio of Milano, studying piano and composition. He has been 2nd Chorus Master at Teatro La Fenice of Venezia from 1994 to 2002  and at Teatro alla Scala of Milano from 2002 to 2018. He has been Chorus Master of the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala and Guest Chorus Master at Radio France and Goteborgsoperan. From 2002 to 2014 he accompanied the summer masterclasses at Universität Mozarteum of Salzburg. He has been Maestro di Sala, a.o., at Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro and at Klangbogen Wien. From 2019 is Maestro del Coro at Teatro Comunale of Bologna.
