Born in Bistrita (Romania) he got his degree at the “Gheorghe Dima” Musical Academy in Cluj Napoca. He has won several International Competitions, including International Music Competition in Seoul, First prize and audience prize at the “Operalia” Competition. During his career he has worked in prestigious Theatres all over the world, directed by important conductors. His active presence on the concert platform has seen him perform the world premiere of Gyorgy Kurtag‘s Colinda balada op. 46 with the Transilvania Philharmonic Orchestra in Cluj-Napoca and with Romania’s most imporant symphonic orchestras.
